A nice fallow buck. My mate asked if I wanted the shot but realistically he had more of a chance. Neck shot at 250m. 85kg head & skin on but empty in the belly

Hehe team effort Catchelot. Yeah still in velvet, we were pretty sure it had shed it but nah, it was only just starting to, should still taste ok Big smile

It went 85kg on the scales gutted, so was a goodie for these parts

We saw two others like that too but we didn't have permission to shoot there. If we did we wouldn't have pulled the trigger anyway. Not  really interested in getting a DS score but yeah probably the best buck we've seen

Your m8, dropped in yesterday evening , a beer and pick up a few fish fillets.. yep he was very pleased.
Its cool you guys go out to shoot for meat, and clean up.

 Im a bit like Catch.. cant bring myself to have a pic taken or hang something I have not caught or shot myself. Maybe just old school.
 To be fair thu, in saying that,I know how suttially pervasive the m8 can be...Wink
