Thanks guys - and apologies for the downtime. Seems we are hitting a limit of data within the forum sometimes which is a new issue that has cropped up. I'm looking in to the cause. We're also updating service monitoring of the forum as this error was not being picked up correctly due to the site running via Cloudflare.

Mmmmm.
So getting logged out after leaving the site is because of a security upgrade and not a software problem?
A few emails have gone backward and forwards over this.
However it does not explain what happens when you go to log in again.
I get the message "you are already logged in. Please click here to log out and log in".
Same issue in Edge and Chrome browsers.
I would prefer to stay logged in.
Cheers.

im experiencing the same logout/login run-around - and would have to agree, that the behaviour prior to the software update is preferable to me

but im not complaining because i understand that we pay nothing for the forum

Appreciate that Bounty Hunter but we need to get it sorted as if it's too hard, then the forums won't be used and there's too much good info and history to let that happen.

If you are getting the message you are logged in but it's not showing you as logged in then try opening the site in an 'Incognito Window' in Chrome (New Private Window) in Firefox. I've just done that and logged in fine and was getting the same run around.

Hope that helps and thanks for you patience.

I am unable to post pics today.

When I upload I getting the progress bar and then a message saying upload complete and when I select OK I get Cancelled in red lettering and thats it... bummerOuch

This issue I have had for sometime now albeit intermittently, this has occurred to me since the last Photo Uploader was introduced.
At first I thought it was a load issue when fishnet server was busy, but I still get the problem when there is only a handful of users online...

Al ... perhaps you should try selecting less well endowed play mates for the "catch of the day" thread as it is scant surprise the system

Agree.
Not complaining, just keeping the tech team informed.
I hope they have taken a few weeks off over Christmas/New Year as we can still get on, just a little time consuming is all.
Cheers.

And I am not having probems and am logged in everytime I pull the site up.
So it must be an issue specific to particular setups.
Haven't tried posting pics lately but last time worked OK. Think one may have ended upside down.

Same as Alan.. nps.

Only if logged out.. go to log in from say a email link.. then takes me to my edit  profile..
And there, intially gets bit confusing as if actually logged in or not.

Should take direct to email link.

no pic upload issues. I wonder if some of the loading issues in last couple days (holidays) could be local network loading rather than server???

I am still getting: -

You are already logged in. Please click here to logout and login

After being thrown out and logging in again.
Is happening with the Edge and Chrome browsers.
Once logged in, it goes straight to my account details rather than returning the the forum page as it used to.
Cheers.

I must be one of the lucky ones.
Still logged in on both laptop and android phone, no evidence that I have noticed of anything untoward on either.
I use skinny for mobile and skinny wireless broadband for home internet - chrome browser.
