yeah pretty oily and with a sort of jellymeat type texture Dead. Looked pretty similar to a blue/english/slimy mackeral type of meat.

had 2 today just inside and north of the chicks, school busting up on krill, one on a plastic the other on a metal jig,

Mate got a slender tuna in Bream Bay last week. Sadly, full of worms like a 'couta. I'd still like to catch one. A tuna on the ski would be a first for me. Maybe tomorrow!
