It has been way too long.  Be good to have a catch up - even if there are only 2 or 3 of us.  Skoti, Big Dave, Steps, Mars - and there are plenty of other regulars such as Coxie, Gurnard, Transformations, Crayseefish, Club Matakawau, Lurkers etc etc... a catch up at The Kentish sometime soon? Wotchoorekon?

Would want to be sure of a reasonable haul as unless you were a multi millionaire would be an expensive exercise to have to buy for a crowd as were selling at New World yesterday for :-

Scollops   =  $100 KG

Whitebait =  $150  KG

There are a few of us local.. some 'baiters , some grab a few scallops.. and retired.. or on shifts.
Ramps/ river only a few minutes away.
Over the yrs I think we get between about 10 and 5 ppl

Im prepared to stick my boat nose out for a couple hrs over the days leading up, get say 4 ppl.. thats 80 scallops
 Im not a white baiter, but sure some are..
 Thu I believe they head down the river on the low (??) and not enough water for my boat.

Its very doable.. Im sure others could throw in a a few venison and/or home kill steaks  thats been hung for 10 days collecting dust... others bring along a a few goodies as well.

Think PJ might start to be getting a cold soonWink

Hmmm... I have an electric reel that wants to be dropped off for a service in Parnell.
Looking for an excuse to make a trip towards Auckland.
