Some rather weird thing happen with L3 and L2 boundaries.
We are 300m from the waikato boundary, and the ramp is in waikato.
So I cant take the boat out.
But Son who lives in waikato, not far way can..

300m away the boundary goes down the road.. therefore those on one side can go to the ramp...but cant come home cause that side of the road is Auckland Wink

No im not tying to make facts fit what I would like to do..
It is what it is, the line has to be drawn in the sand somewhere. Its just this time is a white strip line down the middle of a road.

And to boot.. 1st weekend of L4 last time had the best day bars in yrs.
Then again , this weekend is going to be even flater

Hmm just thinking on the road boundary stuff, those in waikato side have to come to the Auckland side to gas up..

And hah lockdown will not end Frid.

Go fishing steps. Your close enough, and once you factor in continental drift you are probably in the waikato.

You can still fish in Auckland smudge, only landbased or kayak or paddle board. Technically out of a helicopter or hot air balloon would proberly be ok to

Yep.....Level 4 for Auckland midnight Friday. A few of the larger  employers in South Auckland have been given a "heads up" from the Beehive. Waikato status depends on Rotorua testing and tracing results.

If Rotorua +ve I think most of the country will be in lockdown. They have absolutely no way of knowing it is confined to Rotorua and Akl. Highly unlikely.
The more cases that turn up in Akl, the more likely the rest of us go in lockdown too - been free movement around country for weeks now.
It would be criminal if this is traced back to the xxxxxx that escaped isolation for supermarket trip and selfies. He did test +ve later.
Yet to be sentenced.
As far as I know, other than the bloke who went coughing on people in a supermarket, and was -ve, no one has yet been fined/jailed for any breaches of Lockdown or Isolation?

Dave have posted that just to seriously p155 a m8 off right?Wink
If serious I was looking to head out about 1 1/2 hrs after full tide, about 8:30/9am @about 2.7m and head back in in the arvo around 4:45pm 2.15m tide.

Head out around the 50/60m mark.

TTM "
Just go fishing "

I dont tend to name call that sort of stuff...A person is not stupid, a person just does stupid stuff.
Then once in a while...someone, not often, is both,

I believe mechanics are an essential service.

Spray some CRC on your motor and then take it for a mandatory sea trial to see if things loosened up.

Yep, according the manifesto for the masses you can paddle or row. ROW being the operative word. As last time in L3 I have taken the motor off my 4.2m inflatable and I am going to row a few hundred metres out to my gurnard spot and have a mental health day on Sunday😉. That's so long as the bloody chairman doesn't put us into L4 tomorrow ☹️

We don't know what we don't need till we've got it
