It is news to you that the vast majority of people dismiss your easily falsifiable views?

That we are headed toward an Orwellian clown worldLOL
One side is saying trust us, everything we do is based on statistics and science(despite there being numerous examples of that not being the case with this government and it's actions).
On the other side you have a group of people saying a whole heap of things are b.s and are conspiracies like it's going out of fashion.
Like a lot of things the truth probably lies somewhere in between. Being somewhat skeptical of the covid 19 origins and motives of a particular nation seems quite reasonable to me.
That doesn't then mean i share the same views as some person/group or agree with everything else they say.
The way you beat silly ideas and statements is with better ideas and counter arguments not saying "trust us" when you're a proven bulsh*tter like Jacinda.

First nine days of lockdown deemed illegal but necessary.
All those selfish inconsiderate people busted for breaking lockdown now have a legal right to sue for false arrest et al.
So basically they were only thinking of themselves at the time and now there is a chance they could be rewarded for their selfishness. Angry

I say go sue the government.. hard out..
At the end of the day, espec considering the judicial comments of  it was a necessary call anyway, they may win the case..

Ask the judges m8...

That we are headed toward an Orwellian clown world

I wonder about statements like that, espec from those who know stuff all about pre 1980s.

Ever heard of the 50s wharf strikes?
Or the early 50s polio lockdown? I can just rem that..
Even in the 1970s we had car less days, price/ wage freeze, could not import anything unless had overseas funds. Could only buy cars and other items in NZ that had something like 80% NZ content.
The list goes on and on...
NZ was one of the most tight and controlled economies in the world, and arguely more so than the eastern block countries.
Over 1/3 of of the work force  worked for the government..

Back in the day Muldoon was about "reds under the beds "BS"
Yet he had NZ tied down so hard himself.
The NZ movie of the time  Dog day Afternoon  actually had some background substance to the plot...Wink

Are you sure Skoti? I think Dog Day Afternoon was about a bank heist gone wrong, where the robber wanted to get money for his boyfriend to have gender reassignment (called a sex change back then). Sounds like NZ politics to me Clown

Yeah pretty sure you meant Sleeping dogs there Steps

Profanity filtering is a bastard of a thing to get right.

It's how you end up with something called "The S****horpe Problem"

EDIT: hahaha yes, another failure.

There is a town in England whose name is frequently the subject of unintentional blocking. Scun-thorpe.

Double edit: God forbid anyone post a recipe containing ****ake mushrooms as well.
