You know how we all took out single-use plastic bags to carry beer, bait, rubbish etc?
Now that they have been banned, has anybody noticed the spread of nasty virus'?
Coincidence or what?

Our local N.W and countdown happily banned single use bags. They then sold everyone those re usable poly prop bags.
But then  they happily ,at level 4,issued single use plastic gloves.
Since then they will not allow the reusable bags into the shop, citing they were far too unhygenic.
According to the washington post food bourne illness increased 46% in San Francisco after the ban on single use plastic bags went into effect.

Here's a comical but relevant factoid I just heard, apparently scientists discovered flu viruses could be contracted between animals and humans when in the 1930s an infected ferret sneezed on a scientist studying it....

This Covid thing
Have had it..

The incessant propaganda.. sorry adverts, news, on the interent, radio..
Just getting way over the top BS
Then throw in the conspirancy stuff..

just in ones face everywhere one looks hears..

its obsessive to the extreme..

Everyone knows what is required.. if they dont they would have to be in a isolation ward  in a coma on a ventilator.
The rules are simple clear, no biggie unless want land a plane in another country..
Well at least to those who just want to try and interpret them and twist for their own BS entitlement.

Time to move on folks (and should have well before now..)
get a life..here and in the real world.

Steps this is a covid thread, for talking about covid related things. If you don't want to read about it here then don't read the covid thread. Pretty simple really. I have a life, just got back from my weekly trout fishing trip

You got me on a weekend warrior comment a while back Ttm but over all I enjoy seeing your comments just another way of looking at things. I certainly don’t always agree but being closed minded got no one any where ever.

My 6 month old smudged the **** out of her pre bath nappie tonight. Are you really going to have a go at him for misuse of smudge. Have a soft spot for that name was my grandads duckdog when I was young. Very good dog pulled my first pheasant out of a mountain of blackberry.

Shot man your fish was also a mean one. That’s what this place should be about. The weekend warrior comment just touched something with me as I have a 6month old and a just over 2 year old. My priorities have changed but fishing will always be in the mix.

I reckon we could nearly start a separate topic on gun dogs and the stuff they did.
I remember opening morning as a very young lad.. ( was given a 20g shot gun for 11th birthday... Yay) having to strip naked and swim across a freezing cold Piako river to rescue our lab Rusty who had got blackberry looped around his neck on the waters edge on the other side of the river-with a duck in his mouth. Dog was fine. I froze my arse off.
