Wow looks mint.

Mine is a bit bigger, will have a cuddy cabin and be more efficient getting on the plane. It should also plane at slower speeds. But it will never ride as fast or as smooth as the SS16. Only a 10 degree deadrise.

Why'd you ever part with it?

I Got into deep water fishing and wanted something with a bit more protection when heading way out wide. Hence a surtees ht.
A couple of years before I built the Seastrike I built this... An Ocracoke 20.  Caroliner style... I just added a cabin etc.  Now that was  a nice riding boat. I saw it blast past in Whangarei harbor a couple of years ago ..... which was odd because I sold it to a bloke down in Wellington.
Building boats is a lot of fun and very rewarding as you are no doubt  discovering. Ya rig is looking great BTW.

I can see you got a case of BBV (Boat building virus.) I like the look of the B&B designs but most of them would require more room than I have. A lot of work setting up the jig too.
