Wow, mangrove carp!

I thought they had no salt tolerance, but after a bit of googling have discovered they can tolerate up to 10ppt (about 30% salt) no trouble.

They would make an interesting challenge in amongst the oysters

You fluff chuckers could get them to take a floating fly if you tried hard enough. Good practice.

Carp that size go like the clappers!

They are excellent fly rod quarry and as MB says above, great practice.

I was genuinely surprised reading about them living in quite salty water - didn't know they could.
