Hi everyone,

Went out to White Island on labour day with Dad and his mate Joel. We had good success on Kingfish on stickbaits and jigs, as well as some fun with good sized trevally.

I've made a video of the trip filmed from Dads phone, I've edited it myself and posted it on my YouTube channel (Mayhem Fishing). I try to get a video up after every big trip we go on!

The trevally caught at the end of the clip weighed in at 4.5kgs and was a record at the Mount Maunganui Sport Fishing Club on 4kg line. Bit of work to do to get a 7kg trev for an NZ record!
