Need a new handle for a Shimano Thuunus F c14 8000 to replace one that fell in the drink the other dayCensored. Safe to say it wasn't me that done it but still need to replace it so if anyone has a source for parts it would be well appreciated.Clap

Cheers Guys. It seems like the part is $100+ NZCryI may try and find a custom fit from Japan for that.

That's about what they cost. Off the top of my head the threads are the same on a lot of Shimano reels around that size, but custom handles probably start at $140+.

The 8000d handle is slightly cheaper...

The differences are. 

-Colour
-The tubular spacer is aluminium on the Thu and plastic on the D
-In the D handle there is 1 bearing and 1 bush. In the THu there are two bearings.


md have the 8000d handle assy for $82

or the 8000 thu handle assy  for $115

Hi Robert,

Hmmm, well if the cheaper one fits that's an option. States it for the 8000D.It does look a bit shorther on the shaft though. Will try to find some specs on it, thanks....
