Went across at day break in the nephews boat.Got out to kkb and had a debate and convinced ourselves predict winds forecast will come true.Back by midday with 14 snapper ranging from 410 to 650.All with row or milt Wouldn't take squid only mullet. No throw backs and those around us seem to be catching similar snapper.Back at kkb boat Infront had 2 nice 15 lbers. Can hardly wait for the next fortnight's session

Please excuse my ignorance Paul but what are or were "2 nice 15 knees" exactly ??

Kingies perhaps ... if so have never heard of them being referred to as such.

Well done and spot on info
In another week or so, if in over there now, in those numbers, should be hitting Auckland side.. the flats, off Pakatoa/ Ponui and down Kaiaua way.
Pins out in the middle should also be doing well now.

Should be seeing Coxie with some nice fish like this from his hunting grounds shortly.
