Can anyone tell me the circumstance immediately prior to getting that message - e.g: were you clicking on an email alert regarding a topic for instance?

upto this mornin had error message cant conect to server in quick reply box and in ome threads was not there.

few minutes ago opend the current parson thread in new tab
Got "HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable."
Then opening in same window , ok... then repeated in open new tab and ok???Thumbs Up

Refreshed the 503 tab and working...Thumbs Up

Thu in chrome the site is perrty screwed up .. something to do with images not appearing.. If they appeared rather than default image icon, page would load ok... all images.. uploaded , icons etc

This is consistant on 3 computers...

Grunta for me it happens if I click on ( new posts ) showing in brackets. If I click on the forum 1st page and then go to last page it's all ok.

503 was a restart after Drew had made a change to the URL for e-mail alerts so should be a one-off.
Has anyone else had an issue like steps is describing - i.e: broken images?

At my last job we ran into a heap of issues when releasing new versions with cloudflare and the speed it recognized new releases of the websites, had a good solid 5 minute delay before it even registered a new release which in the meantime meant customers couldn't access anything LOL

x2 - same error as Mattoo twice tonight.
Once when going from an email notification to a thread I was following; once when in the forum, trying to go back a page.

This morning in chrome
This maybe a certificate issue.. https:
Firefox all good.

"

This site can’t provide a secure connection

www.fishing.net.nz uses an unsupported protocol.

ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

The client and server don't support a common SSL protocol version or cipher suite. This is likely to be caused when the server needs RC4, which is no longer considered secure.

Can you go to https://www.howsmyssl.com/ and then screenshot the "Given Cipher Suites" bit?

Also what OS are you running, and have you patched it recently?

EDIT: Fishing.net's TLS config is bloody good, so if you're still getting this error it's almost certainly client-side.
