A good couple of mates and myself use the boat show as our time to renew Coastguard memberships and fishing magazine subscriptions, chase round getting the Gate stamps, load up on some of the tackle specials and share a beer or two over lunch.
You can never have enough fishing tackle

Yep when we also renew Coast Guard membership subs etc.
 Meet up with friends...

Got to be careful with passes thu.. a lot of passes including displayer passes have not qualified for the draw in the past.

Early Friday is usually our day, got 2 or 3 in the 7 seater from Waiuku area so far, if others are interested in hitching a ride.

Get the whole family viewing a number of boat packages all in one venue to compare options for upgrading the boat and outboard, and a better than lottery odds at winning the biggest boat show prize ever. Can't wait.

Why choose either diving or fishing when you can do both. Besides crayfish tail is very good bait!!

Definitely most excited to check out some of the deals on new outboards! Have a 6m alloy that is in dire need of a winter overhaul, and the plan is to re-power the existing two stroke with a new four stroke. Hopefully have it all ready for the start of spring to head out into the gulf and out wide Thumbs Up
I just want to jig

That could be worth a shot... it's going to be a long four days at the show so keen to see anyone on the The NZ Fishing Media stand - STAND 177.

There's a bit going on - a draw for a trip to Samoa for all new and existing NZ Fishing News subscribers and take a sub at the show and you'll also 'Bag a Bucket' of goodies worth $90 with every $89, 12 month subscription.

The Fishing.net.nz project 745 Centre Console Extreme will be on the Extreme stand. Bristling with kit including the Minn Kota, twin 12" Raymarine Axiom Pro screens and is one of the first small aluminium trailerboats to feature a Seakeeper Gyro stabiliser.
