I rarely use it out west apart from this time of year and fishing in close, like 10m of water.

Snaps are feeding up large on snapper biscuits which are usually found on the sand, I target the edge of any foul and the sand. Saturday was a classic, first customers were carrots and they were goodies.

Soon after came the pannies, I like to release these as they have a good chance of survival in this depth, by using a release hook so no handling is needed, after half an hour the size of our snaps were getting better and in under 2 hrs we were done and dusted.
Best went 50+ cm most 40 to 50, some fatties amongst them the fat around the gut was like the fat around a sheeps paunch.

Went out deeper for a troll and scored some albies, great morning on the water.

Cheers

Great Feed Feeder :-)
This time of year the fish are on the chew and most places.

Had a mate fishing at Te Kouma Coro. Got back from a fish and timed it wrong with a bit of a que and wait at the boat ramp. So turned off the motor and just sat 50m from the ramp watching for his turn. Kid dropped a line and they instantly hooked into the biggest snapper of their day. Right amoungst all that boat noise and traffic !
