Lucky for me it was only a baby. These things are mental! Even at this size, I was barely able to control it!

Yeah/nah! Got what I wanted/needed, three decent pannies, but never really got on to them. Two deep on the Mad Mile and one shallow in Smugglers. Mojo lacking! Not sure why. End of summer maybe? Mr Mako livened things up a bit!

That 2nd pic is real cool...
A hook up like that.. The fight and get it to the ski.. Then to get on board rather than simply cut it off at the hook.
And still can count 2 hands and 10 whole fingers.. On a jet ski.
Full kudos..
In my books always a good addition to a day's fish, espec if have a feed Iin the bin and a slow day

Thanks Steps. Even my little boy asked if he could count my fingers after seeing the photos. Clearly he has more sense than I do!

Honestly, this thing was loco, trying to bite me, the ski, landing net, anything! It was like an animatronic puppet with a crazed handler, only the teeth were real. I do not recommend trying to pet an angry mako, even a baby!
