Pleased to see such good response however since putting my name forward have been reminded that I am semi committed to a Mohaka fishing/rafting trip on the 6th / 7th April.

Therefore if that is the same dates as the Barrier trip then it is only fair to forego my booking, albeit it reluctantly, particularly as will be in Dunedin the following weekend should it be postponed for a week due to weather or whatever.

Been talking to Norm and his health won't let him get out much just at the moment. Will have to suffer the non-michelin star chef I'm afraid.

Any updates re this trip as getting really close now?

What is the weather likely to do as the Mohaka raft/fishing trip I am booked for now looking a tad uncertain due to the likelihood of intense rain.

Watching the weather at the mo. 20knt SE wont allow much good fishing. Will update here daily and make a call early so everyone can plan. Plenty of backup dates so wont go unless we can do the fishing we planned.

Here are a few fish from a couple of weekends back. Different area but got to love a strayline session
