Home point is the headland north of the entrance to bland bay. Kimora patch is north of poor knights. The v . Have a look on your chart out from blind bay and u will see a line that shows a harbour limit or something like that. Follow it until it does a v shape. Hooked a big fish here three days ago. On a lumo sprocket.Charged the boat , did a jump and spat the lure. Good luck

Kumara Patch, line up the eastern side of the PK with the pinnacles just disappearing in around 165-170m depth and you will find some bottom structure there

Turtle and Krow

Well done team KROW
Those that say it can't be done are being overtaken by those doing it.

Did they win it? Regardless well done Krow/ Doug and Turtle.
Magic effort as not that many fish to be caught.
We saw a couple free jumpers on our sojourn Saturday. But no cigar. You boys sure did good!

2nd place. Few fish caught - 4 T&R I think. None weighed that went weight. No one got two so first fish cleaned up, and that was the guys on Lethal Weapon. Beat us by about 4 hours. 69 boats so pretty slim pickings for 2 days...

Some of the most awesome current lines and temp boundaries I have seen. Like 10+ knot winds on flat calm water. Bait pretty slim. Some got skipppies and we only saw one up at a lure.

Paul/Mangre 2's SSTs were bloody awesome! Learnt a lot from this experience.

Sounds like I have not been missing much not getting up there yet, maybe a few days over the next two weeks.

Very quiet for us too. Just a little excitement that ended up being Dolphins. Nice water to 22.7 but very little in it.

Did you go south in the end Doug?
I love catching fish. But fishing isn't always about catching.
