Well ive been trying to catch squids in nelson last 3 weeks

Ive tried all tahuna spots and no luck. (Both high and low but during the day time and sun set)

However i havent tried around boulder bank but it looked like i need to get wet to cast out the distance i want to cover during low tide.

Any one in nelson cougt or seen squids? I saw a video a guy spear fishing squid around boulder bank but thats few years ago
