Working out casting weight of rod ???

I have a shiny new toy, its 6'6", 2-4kg, oh, but has no casting weight range specified on the on the rod. Is there a way to work out the cast weight of the blank other than casting alot of lures?

Nope, even if it did have a cast weight on it I would take it with a grain of salt anyway.
Fishing the rod it the only way to know

Hard to say for sure, but I'd guess that rod would manage anywhere from 3-10g well.

 Of course I have a 2-5 rod that will chuck a 3/4 ounce jighead with a 5 inch softbait on it easily.
