Anyone ever had experience replacing one? Trying to figure out how to undo the screw that hold the bearing in, has a small pin of some description holding it in that I can't see a way to remove, might be something missing from it. Any help appreciated, cheers

Hi Steve,

I'm overseas so won't be sending my reel to you unfortunately. If you or anyone else could advise me on how to remove the headless set screws I would be really grateful though!

Its pretty basic mate. There is a collar that has shaped to locate inside the bail arm.
The collar comes from the opposite side of the screw through your bail wire - holds all your line roller and bearing assembly then locates into the bail arm.

If you hold your finger hard on the collar to hold it in position, you will be able to unscrew the screw. You will need to hold it as hard as you can to stop it spinning with the screw. If its completely buggered and seized with salt and not spinning at all, or all spinning as one piece it may be time to get the hack saw out cut it off and replace the complete line roller Assembly.

As i always tell people keeping the reel clean of salt and lubricating it in the right places from time to time you shouldn't have any problems like this.
