where can i get baits like this cant seem to find the ones im wanting these are foodsource ones, gulp do a simular one but are there any other brands that do them like this. Also Zman do one but they are 9 inch so it says.  
 
really good for the shallows, with heaps of movement

got some big at gulp ones like that, check ebay out you get the strangest baits you ever did see there. just waiting on some 11 inch eels, they should be interesting....

That design seems to be called "Grub", "Grub tail", "Tail Grub".  Quite a common design  I believe, most softbait ranges should include them. I know Exude, Bozo, Berkley Powerbait, Youvella has them in their range.

Have a look at these ones Sam.
They also do an 8" doubletail that looks interesting.

Those blue/white grubs are my go to trolling lure.

have caught kingis albacore kahawai and skippies using those grubs. Have even caught kingis casting into buoys when they wouldn't take anything else we had.

The grub is way underrated in my opinion. 
Legasea Legend, the rest of you should be too, $10 a month.

I got some green food source ones from the Bait Station, might be all gone now though. Yep like Mili says, Sharpie has big buggars, better get there again I think Thumbs Up

I have some of these...




Berkley 6" rattle snake.
7 in a pack including rattle insert

Have had a few strikes from kings with em, they have a reall nice action, havnt really given them a real good go yet, can get around 6 colors.

You can insert a rattle stick into the tail. Makes a bit of noise!

$8.50 per pack

You find them the business Saltiga? I've tried a similar prototype and missed the bite with Snapper biting the tails off...so I've resisted putting one into the Catch range - maybe I should? What would be the best colour/combo. and length you reckon?

Yes because the tail section is so thin, its easy for the fish to completely ruin your Grub with one bite. I use super durable Grubs which last and last it makes a big difference. In the photo below I am stertching the lure , there very hard to break. Yes I have given them the bite test with my own teethConfused
 
 
Stertchy stretchy durability of Grub shape lures is important if you want them to last.
