trying to have a look at the weather and wind for the weekend, a lot of rains looks to come. but the wind maps are confusing me.

Metservice says SE sat day then SW sat nite
 
Marine weather says Easterlies all saturday
 
Metvuw say SE and Southerleys
 
who should i go with???? or am i readying these wrong??

Pretty massive easterlies all day tomorrow up 45-50 knots by lunch (doesnt matter which way the winds going when its that strong!)
 
Sunday sees things swing around to the south but still pretty stong and then southwest and dying off to a more manageable 15-20knots in the arvo.

winds up here predicted to 120km easterlies turning gale force S/W dieing bu monday
 
good luck out there, if you were going for a fish then Hihi would be the pick as it fishes well with east winds

Know a spot that with out a doubt will be goin off tomorrow, only fires a couple of times a year when the swell hits 4m+, stuck in aucks this weekend otherwise I'd be there.

It's hard to predict such bombs, but weather or not the surf will be pumping. Try bouyweather.com, by far the best updates. 2 days outlook or I think or the seven day outlooks are more than worth the subscription.
