Ron, the Pod for the Perception Swing man is awesome, I'll show you Saturday.  It can hold a 16 pound snapper, trevally 3 x red crays and 1 x 2kg packhorse cray okay.  You'd have to string a big kingie though, but then, I don't shoot kingies as a rule

I got a pod from the Viking range, I need to put a lead keel on it, in rough water it flips, still floats but you need to turn it back over to put fish in. Smile

Apart from that its sweet, cost 150, could fit a comp kingi in it but anything over 13 kg is gonna need stringing.

Paul, I have found if you balance out your fish it is okay.  A solution might be to silicon in a small weight inside the pod, similar to how they weight an old ronstan float, but I can't be bothered.
Bunnings warehouse you can buy a stainless steel U bolt with nuts and a washer for about $14 bucks, which you silicon inside (insert at the front of the float) which I use a D clip to clip my float line off to.  I don't target Kingies and it will only become an issue if I land a 20 pounder.  When that happens I will personally escort the fish to the boat.
