if anyone is looking for accomodation in coromandel town for a fish or just a long weekend, look no further!

been a while since i was down there but through this site i managed to get in touch with dave (corokid) and book his caravan for a few days after new years for the family.

caravan is a large modern number with queen bedroom at one end (with sliding door Wink) and double bunks at the other.
it has an electric hob, oven, microwave, bbq, smoker Thumbs Up, bathroom/shower/toilet and a great outdoor area to unwind with a glass or 5 Beer

dave is as keen as it gets with regards to fishing and will surely give you some good oil on where the fish are biting.

what's more dave and lindsay have to be some of the nicest people you will come across.
we were looked after extremely well and my little 3 yo boy loved feeding the chickens in the morning (yep fresh eggs too!) and running round the large patch of grass.

there's enough room to park a 7m boat and location is nice and secure and only a 5min walk to the pub Thumbs Up

i'll let the pics speak for themselves (excuse the holiday mode) but i will definitely be returning to pick up that 20lber dave promised Big smile

for more info get in contact with dave (corokid) here:

cheers.

As its warming up  , time for a bit of an update.
AJ , rockz  was kind enough to post this and put in appropriate section. My original post is probably about 200 pages back in the briny bar by now.
I guess AJ has claim to naming rights , so welcome to Cas de Coro

Bedding is one queen size bed , very comfortable with inner sprung mattress.
At the opposite end there are two bunks , the bottom bunk will suit an adult , the top bunk being a little shorter will suit a child only.
The two sleeping areas ae at separate ends of caravan (25ft by the way)
So ideal for couples on their own or with one or two children.
Full size shower with separate toilet.
TV with free to air decoder.
Heating if required.
Full size fridge. Microwave, pressure hot and cold water. Very nice kitchen layout.
All linen, towells ,spare blankets, cutlery supplied. Just bring food and beverage.

Caravan has full length Awning , and for extended stays can put sides up. Might even leave this fully set up over summer. Probably sleep a couple out there for groups when a little warmer.

Smoker , BBQ . I do have a bait freezer at main house if required, no guarantee its not already full mind you. . But also just acquired a 180ltr chilly bin. Not for you to take away but can be left on site for your use ,handy for storing fish , bait, ice ect.
If I am around I can even fillet your fish or smoke them for you by arrangement.

Caravan is situated on its own 1200m2 section with plenty parking for boat and turning. You have your own space but only need to ask for assistance or advise , only to happy to help.

Any enquiries please pm.
regards
Dave
