Fantail Bay...Looking at going up there for 3 or 4 days, staying in the doc camping ground , anyone been up there, Whats the fishing like, do you need to book?

At this time of the year I would think you would definitely have to make a booking/site reservation.

Great spot with plenty of options, lazy fish from snapper rock to full on leg burners, plus plenty of spots to get the wind behind you or take a drive back and across to Stoney bay if the wind goes west.  Take everything plus the kitchen sink, it's a fair drive back to Colville and there ain't much there.  As for the fishing there's KY, snaps, trevs and Kings depending on where you go.
I waste most of my money on fishing tackle. The rest I invest in women and booze.

Awsum place,Great weather,fishing was really good Kingy's and snap. Will be going up there again. Camping ground was nearly mt.Once i get another jet ski i will be taking that 4 sure.
