That "Champix" is a ilussanation type drup, gave it away after 1 week. Not so sure about Vapes but been on them for about 6 months,$20 week compared to $120 for roll 50gm+30gm pw Really need to knock the vape too.

Yeah I know people that were almost suicidal when they took that champix stuff. I gave up smoking overnight after being a smoker for 35yrs thanks to finding a suitable vape juice and unit. The nicotine salts juice cut's the vaping right down also.

I'm not anti vax,I've said this how many times? My kids have had all their MMR vaccinations and I've had quite a few flu shots. I'm pro choice,it's a pretty simple concept,it goes like this ... I and I alone decide what I put into my body, not the govt, not some politician. To all you pro vax/anti choice people, what will you do when efficacy rates start dropping rapidly like they are in some countries down to 39% and less? I'm just not sure man can trust a vax developed by a company that has just recalled champix,a cessation of smoking drug that has been proven to cause cancer and that same company had been found guilty of bribing doctors to push their product, let alone a vax that will still be in trials for another 2yrs,I think that's all the reasoning I need. You do you and that's fine.

He didn't call you Anti Vax did he? It was a general statement. I'm not against those who aren't getting the covid vax it is their choice. The only thing that I find hard to stomach are the anti vaxxers that keep posting up misinformation, poor souls really believe what they're saying. You know the type - the ones who think Bill Gates is the devil, the ones who hate any form of authority whatsoever. Those people

To be honest Its hard to tell who he was talking to as he didnt quote anyone...but I have been called anti vax on this thread before so I assumed he was talking to me. Yeah there are a few nuts out there regarding the Bill Gates stuff and the Alex Jones stuff, I agree.

Tell your friend it stops the majority of transmission and/or lessens the effects of the virus.
Your friend should sit down with his GP and have a discussion.

With the onset of boosters how many jabs will it take? I have asked all the health experts I know (and they are in the know) and they don’t seem to know…

Serious question how many jabs will you and I need?

As virus mutates we may need a series of them.

time will tell.  We may need one a year just like the seasonal flu.  Or it could be like the Spanish flu and be gone after 3 years. It is important to understand that even though the ability of the vaccine to prevent infection from delta wanes (but does not fully dissipate) after 6 months protection against hospitalisation remains very high and that is what matters.  We are all going to get Covid eventually.  The only difference is the impact.

 Does it matter?
is it a issue of any sort?
is it actually reliveint to anything?

Considering we have been getting tentinus boosters, flu boosters for...more than the life time of most here.

Yes steps, boosters are needed for most but not all, it would seem. Only had the one jab for TB. Be interesting to know of those in Northland who have had TB in recent times, if they were jabed.

Never had a flu jab, so i cannot say if any good; but what i have heard some are crook for a fair few days.

Tetanus. Hmm! Had a very good QH stallion die of Tetanus. Reason vets feel, was he did not, nor the mare have shots for immunity, found this out after horse died.
If any person has witnessed and animal or person dying of Tetanus, you would be heading to the docs with your whole family, to be jabbed as soon as .

I firmly believe with an 'amount of trust' in Medical professional's, not 100% though.

Only posted about boosters because so often seen the anti vaccers jump onto this as an issue..

Which to most shows up their  narrow minded ignorance and the stupidity of not following up the anti vacc BS rabbit holes they have fallen down..

On the other hand , just seen pro vaccers, trying to get their Moari relatives vaccinated by stating that the the Moari Cultural (??)tour  of the mid 1920s got vacced for Spanish flu, before heading to  Europe.
The flu virus wasnt isolated till the 1930s.
The 1st vaccinations , early 1940s.
1st limited public vaccination in the USA late 1950s early 1960s.
And readily available in NZ for selected at risk groups in the late 1960s early 1970s.

Like the anti vacc BS which is given with all good intentions ( thu very is guided)   here we have pro vacc, doing the same thing with BS propaganda.
Danger here is the anti vaccers get hold of it to knock the creditably of pro vaccers.

Beginning of the week Counties Manukau was 26th Nov for 90%  Now its into early Dec.

Government has dug a hole by committing so hard to the 90%...AND we being open for xmas..
I can see a back down on the 90% for each DHB by the government.

Well Steps I don’t personally put to much medication into my body. Never have never will. Never a flu shot pretty sure I was not vaccinated as a child but will confirm that with my parents.
If I was did a pretty crap job because I had measles, chicken pox and the mumps as a child 😂

It is relevant though given the amount of bleating going on. Are you going to bleat at people not getting boosters and is not getting boosters going to close us down again?

A back down from government? Well we will see but it’s a road well worn by this lot.

I logged into the My Health app a couple of days ago, is that your papers? Does anyone know or do we get a certificate?

What happens when we don't hit the mythical 90% vaccination rate?  As far as I can see nowhere in the world has achieved this, so what makes us think we can?And what is so special about 90%, it just seems to be a number randomly selected by someone.

It's a real shame that we started out so well with our response, but the government just never seemed to think beyond that first stage.

they will be forced to call it on nov 29 with a date for Auckland border to drop. I have expected for some time things will flip and Northland will have a border to protect “marginalised communities”. The labour caucas and northland iwi will want that so no Aucklanders to Northland for Christmas but free to go anywhere else
