2 l little boats went out of tuts today and caught 3 marlin late in the day between em.  Ok one was released itself close on 20m from boat  (sometimes hard to unhook boat side by yourself, better to let it release itself in its own time…would loved to see that action) but the 2 others were unhooked and swam away boat side. They got these in amongst quite a few hookups by sound of it. With one of our solo anglers, George, going in to help Dave his fellow solo angler deal with his fish, only to hook up himself multiple times with only a few lures out.
These guys IMHOP are the real deal and have fished up here every year since I was here, over 20 yrs ago for them.  They did all that on second day they’re up here fishing here this year..and have been kept away for a while … too long! They make their own lures back in Auckland (very nice they are too).. and 2 of the marlin took those. Both these boys previously fished and owned tusi tala, a 33 ft pelin …but now have awesome small boats (under 5m) kitted to the max. Awesome lads, Dave and George, real proud of you and glad you had an awesome day.  Legends!

Out there doing it. Nice report
Those that say it can't be done are being overtaken by those doing it.
