Finor primal 10 great buy if wanting a lever drag on budget at circa $250 if can not stretch to a Penn in same configuration ( as in the fathoms). Suspect reel you are liking is close if not as good as the fathom… but no experience owning. Sometimes you can take a chance and get a good reel for less. And to be honest like lot of warranties Penn and Shimano, when they fail eventually are hardly worth fixing these days. Unless flagship brands like with shimano, the following, where they will pull some stops to service them and replace parts. You can get Tiagra, Trinidad and Calcutta’s fixed. Some of newer reels without that guaranteed back up though in variety of reels are however more capable and better reels to fish with… just way it’s developed. Some cheap reels out perform more expensive reels but aren’t flagships and would be harder to ever get parts for. But some will hardly ever fail and parts that do, the parts you might want to replace like drags and handles, etc can be replaced with generic parts. Actually same with the major brand flagship stuff.
Otherwise the torium 16 are proven (and serviceable) - but are a star drag , however are a very good star drag mind you, what muppet used to use from yak. I use a Penn fathom star 25n as my go to king reel from boat. I quite like star drags for big kings even livebaiting big kahawai. Penn 25n star is also capable jig reel as would be that Primal 10 Lever drag I suspect in lighter situations (up to pe5) or wanting something more compact from yak.
I’d give that primal 10 reel you looking at a go if I was in the market. And then put up the feedback, good or bad, on here.
