Trevally are great eating. Just bleed after capture. Excellent sashimi or smoked. I often crumb and fry. Eat fresh. They dont keep as well as snapper.

Smoked Trevally yum 😋
It smokes really well because of the oil content in the fish

And yes Sashimi because of the firmness of the flesh

Went out of Taylor’s and court a snapper on a slider for the first time after trying a number of times on previous excursions.
One 60cm Trevally put on a fight what was nice. Fish for tea!!
Was a hard yak but needed to get out. Think the next few days look good to
