Good stuff Gdog must catch up for a fish in March. I see White Island erupting and tourists dead/injured not good.
Solid Trev Shane, that's a good 11cm bigger than the biggest one I've caught and I thought that was a big Trev!
What are some good ways to eat a trev? Heard sashimi or use as bait or put back
Trevally are great eating. Just bleed after capture. Excellent sashimi or smoked. I often crumb and fry. Eat fresh. They dont keep as well as snapper.

It smokes really well because of the oil content in the fish
And yes Sashimi because of the firmness of the flesh
