Ruff, did you genuinely catch that snapper inside the harbour recently? I didn't think they were in the harbour in winter.

Most of us don't want to talk about that... A couple of very good fish were caught by a lucky few tho.

Ruff it was good to have a quick chat to you, sounds like you lost another good one after we were talking. We ended up with 9 snapper, but sharks were a problem, hooked 5 school sharks as well.

Nice ruff.
Club day. First time for a while and a great turn out with 15 Kayakers launching in near perfect conditions. Snapper fishing was slow for everyone apart from werner, congrats Rips on the only snapper of size at 58.5cm . Good to see a few new faces. Hopefully we can get out next month also.

So went in shallow to catch some smaller ones for the neighbors and hooked a monster that did two big runs and snapped me off on some rocks. Reminds me i have to retie both leadersCryCry

Ruff there were a few decent kingys about, so you may have hooked one of them, we had one about 10-15 kg follow up a snapper, plus saw another one chasing something on the surface for about 5 minutes, but it never came closer then about 60m. Probably something that was just too big for it to eat, seen that a number of times.
