Bugger Dale. It has been patchy lately. I didn't get anything for about 2 hours last week before I caught 5. Where did you go ?
I'm going off Harrisons tomorrow with 4 others. Not expecting too much.

Skunked 😁 water cold 12.5c. Luke, Graeme and Richard picked up a couple before 7am but then the bite stopped for everyone. I forgot some gear so had to pop back home so launched about 7am.

Actually a cold pesky southeast breeze didn't help. One of our group had a pretty nasty turtle coming in. There was a bit of a dumper wave every so often.

I was having a pretty bad session Thursday morning 2hrs with nothing legal caught. Then my softie got snaffled after I dropped it on a bait ball. Solid fight and 10 mins later this beauty popped up. A new length PB for me but not weight.

Crikey Piwi another stonker even bigger, you're giving Downtown a bit of a nudge.
You guys challenge me at times to sell my boat and take up kayak fishing

Thanks guys. To be fair the last one I got round this size was in 2012.
Greg it's a great way to fish. All that coastline you can drag a kayak off. It's unlimited.

Hi Guys,
New to the BOP, but have been kayak fishing for a long time.

I have a prowler ultra 4.3 and pretty much just soft bait.

I live by bayfair, but dont mind driving.

Keen for info around beach launching spots, best tides, weather range, morning or night.
Also keen for a fishing buddy or 2

Thanks in Advance
Regan Ashton
