Been playing around now for a while with lite jigging rods and are still amazed at what some brands are doing with these rods. How lite will the go? How small a diameter will they get? The power in some of them is off the planet. Synit, Smith, Jigstar and Jigging Master seem to be producing the goods with what I call fun rods. I can never stop smiling after dealing to a kingfish with these mini weapons, give it death!!

My mate with his Synit mantis micro light just before he pinged off, should have gone for heavier leader than 10 lb Fluor on this one, decently room for more drag here tho

Nothing fancy in here but I thought I would share the bent on my humble BBE PE5-8 5' with the modest Spheros 20000 hooked up to my PB 21kg kingy in Mayor Island... winching it from 120m.

Good times... my first legal kingy on a 300g "el cheapo" $15 bucks jig.
