Was a nice afternoon, fished till dark off campbells.. 5 nice pannies ... pulled hook on what was definitely much better fish. Really need to get some better hooks... went to some octopus recurves this arvo. Dropped lot of fish so went back to smaller standard octopus but pulled hook on big fish on that. They seemed to be light on bite. 
Got nice kahawai and quite a few yellowtail for bait for next session. Even got well 35cm legal snap on my bait handline on a hook which would catch piper six feet under the yak.
No gurnard where they should been.
Had to wash kayak down with bowl of water and a dish brush.
