I hope that gets the poor performance behind them.  I haven't seen the game other than 6 mins of highlights but the reports suggest ill-discipline was an issue.  The ABs can't afford to have both Retallick and Barrett sidelined through injuries or red cards.  They do seem to struggle without Retallick imo.

Don't mind getting outplayed, but when we get bullied up front like that, something needs to change quickly.

Checked the TAB afterwards. We were still favourates at 3.50 and the Boks paying 6.

There will be a few old school AB tight forwards turning in their resting place after that performance

Calling Steve Hansen in isn't an option. The way I see it is that the squad selection is pretty much as he would have picked anyway. so it's the coach right? Well the coach didn't knock the ball on one million times did he?  The coach didn't tell any of the forwards to get their knee ripped open, nor did he tell anyone to go down to 13 men (maybe he used to play league?). The AB's needed this and will come back bigger, better, stronger!

Pretty good post there FA. Great pun with the kick off so I'll ruck in with my thoughts. I don't think it will be a high score and won't be many tries scored. My heart says 26 for France & 28 to the AB's. This World Cup will be Aaron Smith's swansong, one of the best all timers IMO.
