But the Adam kept sinking. I used mono line to the Adams. <br />I applied floatant to the Adam as well. <br /><br />Is there anything I can add to the trying process to enable it to float? I tried with a rubber band but useless. <br /><br />B) has anyone use this Adam dry in Taupo Rotorua region? If yes , which is the best month to use? <br /><br />Thank you<br /><br />]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.fishing.net.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=47893">Jaapie</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> Caddis pupa<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 17 Mar 2025 at 11:39am<br /><br /><div>The shape is right with the carrot profile.</div><div><br></div><div>Top one looks like a cased caddis and the bottom one a net building caddis.</div><div><br></div><div>Just make sure the colour of the material you use is similar to the substrate of the water and surrounds, although there are definitely variations that lean to a cream colour of the caddis!</div><div><br></div><div>Your body material looks like it would be able to take coloured marking pens like light brown, tan, olive green (my favourite) etc. With a bit of coloured ink, you're able to open up a whole new world with this as you continue your tying.<br></div><div><br></div><div>Make sure there is a bit of under weight to get the fly near the bottom too.</div><div><br></div><div>Fish them with confidence.</div><div><br></div><div>Good luck.<br></div>]]>
