I'm a keen diver/spearo moving to alexandra in a couple months and was looking for some info. I don't have a boat and i do everything shore based. What would I be likely to encounter around this area, are the cray and paua numbers good, butters, bluecod etc. Not after anyones spot X but just want to get a feel for what to expect
Cheers

Just visible with the right direction xray. Doc said they would need to take my finger off to get to it. No guarantee it wouldn't be permanently damaged in the process so more than 12 months later pain and inflammation got better, Took ages for my body to dissolve it. 30+ years later and knuckle is still fat and I can "lock" it.

And probably afterwards give it away to some local kid who can't afford one.
