I'm trying to find a Demon Blood but none around in Auckland where I've been, have they been discontinued? Anyone know where there is one for sale at the moment?

I think that if the tip folds away to quickly for a stick bait then it is going to struggle to develop the inertia needed to work a popper properly. Typically popper rods are slower tip action than a stick bait rod.

I have a Terez, ( left behind by a well intentioned friend) I wouldn't consider using it for popper fishing, and only use it for small stick baits, as a last choice.

The terez has a really short butt section making it awkward to fight fish on the hip. I found the eyes to be 2 small therefore losing casting distance and having trouble getting knot through top eye. And it was quite hard to work the stickbait. Terez rods have an extra fast/fast action which isn't good for working stickbaits, it just pulls them out of the water and doesn't get them swimming properly. Need a medium action to get them swimming. Terez are better for working poppers, but the TDTZ150 model might work ok.

From what I've seen on the fishing and adventure show those Fin Nor Troppo stickbait rods seem to do the job nicely and at a good price too.
