I have just scored a very light stickbait set up. 20-30lb rod with a 5000 size reel and 30lb braid.

I know carpenter and RAL are the best and entice the bite when the fishing is hard but whats a good, cheap, light weight stickbait to start off with. Im gonna start with a couple of stickbaits around $30 mark to get in the swing of casting and retrieving.

Im thinking maybe a waxwing and a starwalker, or maybe a new Black Magic stickbait. Shimano orca maybe?

Where should I start? What colour's are best?
Fishing in Hauraki around bouys and the like.

Thanks in advance
