I really wanted to buy one of the new Synit Van Diemen X46 but I just couldn't afford to do it. I'm using the Daiwa. I like it, got a stella 14000 attached and seems a good combo. Loves the 100 and 120gram stickbaits No trouble punching out 75-100 meters with those attached. Haven't had a wind knot yet even without K guides - but using expensive braid so that may help.

You mean the TDOC230? TDOC450 is a 2 piece going off this http://www.shimanofishing.co.nz/products/rods/all-1/tcurve-ocea-series/specifications
