The US models were released in sept and nov from memory so is a new model, the one in the link is the JDM model which is not out yet. May be on the market here at some stage but the local guys had no intention of getting it in when I spoke to them last year.

Possibly on par with the B series Calcutta, think a better comparison would be with the Chronarch reels. Have been using a Tatula Type-R (US Model) for the last month or so, good reel for the price. Got a pretty unhelpful response when I tried to find out if I could buy one off Daiwa NZ last year though. Conquests have always been gold Rotate apart from the odd special model.
