His site can be a bit hard to read, but some seriously good info in there.<br /><br />Heard good reports about the Varivas, but hard to go past YGK if you don't mind spending the $'s, though the Jigman X8 is about the same price as the Varivas. Daiwa's Saltiga boat & Tournament are a bit cheaper & probably good value for money.<br /><br />If it's 6 or 8 strand & made in Japan or the USA it should be quality braid - just be careful with the TradeMe $30 specials  <img src="https://www.fishing.net.nz/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> ]]>

It is much more supple than normal braid, and I'm noticing less wind knots.]]>
