I kinda meant do they suddenly burn out like say, blue marlin do, or do they go the distance and fight all the way to the end?
I'm just polishing off my video now so when it's done I'll put the link up. Catching them on proper gearWink gives you a battle of epic proportions.
A hook in the mouth as opposed to a shaft through the head or vital organs does make a difference.
 
The wide shape of them and the way they hang in the current - they make you work!
 
They are incredibly strong fish - real street thugs of their environment.
Only thing I'd pick that would go better would be a Doggie.
 
Have caught both to good sizes so can vouch.

How do GTs fight? Do they go for long or just go nuts for a short amount of time?
