I have&nbsp;a rod&nbsp;here for $1800 aus. that will break down pretty well for traveling..skys the limit.</DIV><DIV>If you are&nbsp;fishing a lot more then maybe a two piece and a good tube is a better idea, otherwise if it is occasional (not wanting to pay a lot)&nbsp;and you want more portability then go the Shimano.</DIV>]]>

Heta hails from Kaikohe and hasnt done a lot of fishing...... For the money its good value, Mine has seen&nbsp; GT's upto 15-18 odd kilos. Its a reasonably slow action, and capable of working medium to large poppers, not so good on stickbaits due to the tip action. I dont have any of my jigging gear up here and so it gets used around the channel markers for jigging GT's as well,&nbsp;Not pretty and hard work with its length, but it saw a mate land his largest GT, mind you he did complain he was getting tired.<div><br></div><div><img src="uploads/72794/IMG_3706.JPG" height="299" width="450" border="0" /></div><div><br></div><div><img src="uploads/72794/IMG_3555.JPG" height="299" width="450" border="0" /><br>&nbsp;<div>&nbsp;</div><div>3 piece breaks down pertty small for travelling as well :)</div></div>]]>
