I have never seen a JM reel have the bearings, "fail multiple times" as you put it. If you don't look after your reel then expect to deal with the consequences. They are of far superior build quality and engineering. After making the switch, I would not touch a JM reel with a 20ft barge pole.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>The only downside/change has been the higher ratio of the Accurates making it slightly more work to wind with the larger BX500/600 etc. A friend recently used one of my accurates and when comparing it to his JM,&nbsp;described&nbsp;it as "a real Mans jigging reel"</div>]]>
