    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.fishing.net.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=57071">bazza</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 88347<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 20 Feb 2013 at 6:27pm<br /><br />May well be a good bait as they are fairly oily however on some days the snaps will attack almost anything so probably before we decide a certain bait is a winner reckon it is only safe to claim it is after it has proven itself successful&nbsp;by fishing it&nbsp;alongside some of the more accepted baits.<div>&nbsp;</div><div>Then again there was a time not so long ago when the only bait you could buy was trevally or squid &amp; apart from catching your own pllchards, bonito, mackeral, saurey, anchovies etc. simply did not exist &amp; as for burley 95% of fishos would not even known what it was.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>So yeah .... give parore your best shot to see if it is a winner then let us all know because they are so easy to net to the point they become a&nbsp;real pain in the proverbial.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>On this note reckon it would be great to run a competion on this forum based on innovative introductions to new forms of bait hitherto with undiscovered potential ...... so much the better if it is a noxious critter</div><div>such as koi carp or similar or anything that does not deplete our oceans.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>What do other members here think of such a proposal?</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>IMHO it could do no harm unless the winner was Manukau gurnard&nbsp;which would undoubtable earn the wrath of a certain moderator who shall remain nameless.&nbsp;</div>]]>
