It is called Tasline All White braid, you can check it out on his website through the link from Poppin Tonga.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>I bought some of the PE3.5, and it is the shizzle!!! Crazy thin, nice to handle, and tests to 78lb!</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>I got a 500 yard spool on my PE4, its now my go to bluenose reel!!</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>He also sent samples of his other lines, they look the goods as well, hes got from PE0.2 @ 8lb thru to PE8 @ 137lb.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>I havent heard of anyone else using it here, but I will definitely&nbsp;be getting more for my other reels when the time comes.</div>]]>

I've fished alot of braids, inlcuding the very high priced ones like YGK and Varivas, and can honestly say I prefer the JB Hollow.... especially for casting... <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I still fish Varivas GT Max PE 10 on my Stella 18000, on the original spool, and have 100lb JB Hollow with a topshot of 150 metres of GT Max PE 10 on it, but this is merely because I haven't yet had to replace the GT Max, and had some left on a spool so topshotted the new 25000 Spool.. </DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Fish my 10000SW with the 16000 spool with 100lb Hollow... brilliant set up.... </DIV>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.fishing.net.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=79082">fishmad1</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 79229<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 31 May 2012 at 5:34pm<br /><br />Hey Fenien<br><br>Just for what its worth...have done a lot of popping up here (Oman) for the last while (all we seem to do) - I miss the pillies..anyway for what its worth the vast majority of people use solid, not 100% why but just seems to be the case...<br><br>All types but generally the best you can buy...I personally use SMP PE10 as it covers both primary areas that we fish...In short most run 10-15kg drag at full spool and then palm the spool once you hook up. The first 60 seconds will generally set the scene...I have witnessed plenty of bust offs in that first 60 secs, lots or reasons but generally too much pressure causing the main to break (these main's are all 100lb +) so a lot of pressure.<br><br>I haven't seen a cut leader but the boys use all sorts, twisted, long, short etc.. I use the Varivas 170lb and 200lb (very supple and knots well). I prefer the knot outside the guides so run a short leader...from the tip to the stripper guide (FG or a version of it).<br><br>I use the Jigstar swivel/grommet with the small ring cut off...just because the grommet allows the thicker leader to knot up well...(Chris we need some up here!!)<br><br>Anyway...hope that's of some help<br><br><br>]]>
