As for the harbour some door knoking may be the ticket to some good spots and may be some local no were helps but yes the fish is there. <DIV></DIV>If you fish the enterance fish incoming tide as far see words as you can works best for me the rest you will have to look see for your self good luck and be safe]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.fishing.net.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=76120">AndreA</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 73680<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 23 Dec 2011 at 6:18pm<br /><br />The wharf is good,its best fished on a incoming tide that coincides with the change of light,there are good fish in the harbour just need to be patient,the spot already suggested @ the harbour entrance can be productive,i have caught gurnard,snapper,trevally,kahawai,sharks &amp; had some fun with some stingrays,same as the wharf best fished the last couple hours &amp; a hour or 2 of a a high tide @ the change of light early morning or evening.I haved walked around the rocks from whale bay &amp; its looks worth trying with lots of berley &amp; stray lining with fresh bait, but you would have to keep in contact with your bait all the time to avoid snagging the bottom,personally i have not tried it as i have a boat but it could be worth giving it a go.You dont know until you try.There are fish in the harbour just have to persevere to get thru the little bait pickers.]]>
