4 TLD 50's, BM gimbal and harness couple of moldcrafts, leader, hooks, swivels and some gardening gloves you prob be sorted for around 5k.

cheaper option just 2 tld50's and a skippie rod, throw baits in where you catch them.

Nothing wrong with 24kg on 50s, especially in trailer boat fishing standup - you'll probably want 4 outfits  if trolling lures solely,  or combination of couple of 50s for when trolling lures and one 80/37 kg for lures and as a dedicated livebait outfit.  Can always have your snapper rod with skippy lure on out to catch a bait -still leaves 3 marlin lures in spread.  Would equip boat with outriggers if trolling lures -not so important if mainly livebaiting.
 
If your going 50s - the tyrnos 50 and tld 50s are good for 24 kg -just make sure you clear gear quick and get after your fish.  A tiagra 50W will give you bit more capacity -but cost more.   Tiagra 80s are best way to go for 37kg in terms of performance and resale. 
 
Penns and Okuma Makiras, Aletecnos all good too, if you can get them at reasonable price.  Had Penns and Okuma but sold em -just cause I like Shimano best.   Have never had any real issues with Shimanos-and use em extensively -TLD50s, Tynos, tiagra 50 and 80s.   They all work pretty good and its  usually the angler and skipper that makes difference not the size of reel.
Few well proven lures and a live bait trace, some gloves and a decent gaff and your away.
Always will be more fun catching marlin from own boat than a charter.

To answer your question re which shimano reel to buy, buy 2 or 3 of the dearest you can afford would be my advice.

Then spend time on here getting to know the people and learning as much as you can (but get out there and do it too), the guys on here are awesome, i did my 1st day game fishing in 09/10 season, to date i have nailed 3 of my own, wired a few, driven one, gaffed a couple and been on board for a few more as well as a few drops, thats in two seasons. Couldnt have done it if it wasnt for good basta rds off this forum.

Ask lots of questions and keep your ears open.
