For up in the sollies though, I would like some longer, piper-type looking poppers as well.<br><img src="uploads/54324/Web_fSolsjun11rdbs_smallppr1_strkpro.jpg" height="348" width="440" border="0" />...<br>...this little strikepro was very effective, looked a lot like the long-toms that hang out over all reefs up there, as well as the small gars...<br><img src="uploads/54324/Web_fSolsjun11_gar_ppr.jpg" height="450" width="278" border="0" />...<br>...like that. I only had the one of those, and as inevitably happened casting over bommies, I lost that, so perforce I started using these small poppers....<br><img src="uploads/54324/Web_fSolsjun11_crl_trt2.jpg" height="450" width="423" border="0" /><br>.... which worked well, but I felt didn't quite have the appeal of the longer lure. Oh, that is only about a 4" popper by the way....<br><img src="uploads/54324/Web_fSolsjun11rdbs_smlppr3.jpg" height="286" width="450" border="0" />... that shot puts it more in perspective I guess.<br>As you can see, there are a lot more than just GTs that nail the poppers up there! :-)<br><br>But it'd be interesting to see what you can come up with!<br>cheers mate, <br>Stu.<br>]]>

I started doing these instead of wasting paint during colour changes etc...If I get some spare time I will make one up for ya'&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Marx, The gill plates and mouth are all carved and shaped...
